  1. Game Designer — Genshin Impact (Remote, China)

    Aug 2025 – Present (Project Based)

    Hired under Genshin Impact’s UGC Beta Campaign after pitching an original concept, “The Haunted Ascend.” Developed the project alongside one collaborator. The game featured vertical climbing gameplay inspired by Only Up!, reimagined in a Halloween theme with eerie atmosphere and light jump-scare moments. Selected among the
    Top 30 out of 100 UGC projects.

    • Designed and scripted all gameplay elements including platforming sequences, triggers, and event-based scares using Genshin’s UGC tools.
    • Created environment layout, lighting, and visual effects to support the horror-inspired setting.
    • Worked with a teammate on sound design, object placement, and camera setup to enhance immersion.
    • Delivered the complete game within Genshin’s UGC Beta guidelines and received official compensation for development.
  2. Lead Game & Blockchain Developer — Goldon Studios (Remote, Singapore)

    Sole developer for all programming, networking, backend, UI/UX, and blockchain features of Rage Effect (rageeffect.io), a high-performance cross-platform multiplayer PVP/PVE shooter built entirely from scratch by a two-member team: one developer (myself) and one designer.

    • Engineered advanced combat systems including recoil mechanics, customizable weapons, killstreak rewards, and throwable items.
    • Implemented movement and traversal mechanics (sliding, sprinting, climbing, jetpacks) and vehicle systems (cars, bikes, tanks).
    • Created progression systems: battle pass, quests, achievements, clan features, leaderboards, and ranked matchmaking.
    • Integrated Solana, Sui, and Sonic blockchains for NFT-based assets. Architected backend infrastructure using PHP/Node.js, SQL, and AWS for scalable performance.

    Hired by Crosse Studio to design and develop a unique FPS Infinite Wave System game featuring math-based combat mechanics. Players face waves of AI enemies with mathematical problems displayed on their heads and answers on their limbs, combining action gameplay with brain-challenging elements.

    • Developed multiple game modes focused on different operations — addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and combined modes.
    • Implemented a dynamic difficulty system where question complexity and enemy behavior scale with player progress.
    • Designed AI bot behavior including speed variants (fast, normal) and attack logic tied to math-solving mechanics.
    • Built ranking and login systems for player progression and score tracking.
    • Created a wave-based survival system with smooth scaling and performance optimization for extended play sessions.
